The Fast Game

The Fast Game is a venue for fit and highly skilled players to play together, creating an increased level of game intensity.  The Fast Game implies that the expected performance of each player is higher in terms of SKILL, TEAM PLAY, and most importantly, UNDERWATER FITNESS.

Fast Game Roster

1.  A Fast Game committee shall be formed/appointed by the 3P BOT.
2. The Fast Game Committee shall determine who is eligible to play in the Fast Game, subject to the following criteria:

  • must exhibit a high level of Fitness (underwater presence -frequency and length of stay; speed, agility, power and strength) and Skill (puck-handling; flicking – can make puck fly, at the minimum; underwater swim skills, positioning and game sense).
  • must exhibit sportsmanlike behavior and contribute positively to the Fast Game.

In addition, consideration shall be given in the following order of priority:

Fast game :

  1. Fitness: High; Skill: High
  2. Fitness: High; Skill: Mid-Level
  3. Fitness: Mid-Level; Skill: High

Fun Game:

3. Every quarter, all Fast Game players will rank and vote their top 20 from the pre-selected list submitted by the Fast Game committee. The list will include a maximum of three potential non-fast players. If a non-fast player makes the top 20, he/she will be automatically included in the Fast Game Roster.

4. Fast Game players who don’t make the top 20 will be put on the reserve list.

5. Players, who would like to be included in the Fast Game Roster must send a letter of request to the Fast Game Committee. The committee will determine if the requesting player meets the required criteria set forth above, through a program designed to assess the player’s fitness and individual skill level. In addition, the requesting player may be asked to join one or two Fast Games to see how he/she can contribute in the game.
